This is the Citroën Lacoste concept, which the automaker describes as "an emblem for a state-of-mind" – that particular mental state probably including sun, sand, bikinis and Speedos. The open buggy-like four-seater with floating headrests is the opposite of "always more," powered by a three-cylinder engine that will make its pace as relaxed as its occupants.
Fashion and four-wheelers combine all around, with the golf-ball wheels outside and bench seats with a polo-shirt-like weave inside. The dash that's as wide as the car goes in another direction entirely, with readouts in giant pixels popping up and running along its length akin to a Times Square news ticker. And although we probably won't see it on the roads beaches soon, there is a chance we could see it or something like it: Frédéric Banzet, managing director of Citroën, has said he'd like to bring it to production.
Citroën continues to expand its DS lineup of cars. The first model-launched with the DS styling was the DS3, and here at the Paris Motor Show we have just gotten our first look at the all-new Citroën DS4.
The five-door hatchback shows off the new direction of Citroën styling and pushes the automaker into a new era. The DS4 will be available with a slew of engine choices that can be paired up with either a six-speed automatic or manual transmission. For diesel fans, there are 110- and 160-horsepower units, however the ever-important torque figures are not yet available. Citroën has released first details of the new C3, a completely redesigned successor to the popular C3 supermini – a bestseller with over 2 million units delivered worldwide.

The REVOLTe concept is a throwback to the 2CV of yore, which celebrated its 60th anniversary last year. But while the Tata Nano might carry the flame of the bare-bones four-wheeled transport today, the REVOLTe simply borrows the basic shape of its forbearer and gives it a modern twist. That bit comes courtesy of an unspecified "small-capacity conventional combustion engine combined with an electric motor and a battery re-charging function." Measuring just twelve feet long, the REVOLTe seats three – one offset up front and two in the back – accessed by suicide doors.

According to a report from Financial Times in the U.K., BMW may be in preliminary talks to share small car platforms for future Mini variants with PSA Peugeot Citroën. Citroen Hypnos Concept Car The special hybrid technology used on Hypnos highlights Citroen’s commitment to the environment and shows once again that this strong ecological focus is always accompanied by driving thrills and efficiency. With its 200 bhp (147 kW) engine, Hypnos combines dynamic performance with low fuel consumption and emissions (4.5 l/100 km and 120 g/km of CO2).
Illustrating the advantages of hybrid technology through a high-tech approach, Citroen has designed a beautifully proportioned coupe with bold styling.
Company management Citroen has approved working out of ecologically pure and economic conceptual car constructed on the basis of flagman sedan C6.
On it informs British edition Autocar referring to not named sources familiar with a situation.
The novelty will receive hybrid a diesel engine-electric a power-plant similar on a design with the unit, used in conceptual crossover Peugeot 3008 Hybrid. The structure of an "original" power-plant will include 163-strong diesel "four" in volume of two litres which will rotate wheels of a forward axis, and the electromotor power of 37 h.p. which are responsible for work of back wheels.
Also the sedan will receive six-step robotised "mechanics", system "start-stop" and new aerodynamic elements of a body: completely the flat bottom, the back wheels half closed by special guards and tyres with the lowered resistance of loading. It is expected, that the factor of aerodynamic resistance at such car will make 0,24, and level of emissions of carbonic gas — about 100 grammes on kilometre.
Whether ecologically pure version Citroen C6 will be produced in lots it is not known yet.
