On the closed presentation in Germany company Porsche has declassified the first official information on off-road car Cayenne of new generation. Data have been given the press two months prior to a car debut on a motor show in Geneva.

The novelty is constructed on a platform of car Volkswagen Touareg of following generation. The wheel base new Porsche Cayenne in comparison with the predecessor has grown on 40 mm — to 2,895 mm. The track of forward and back wheels, however on how many also has increased, is not specified yet.
In off-road car salon became more spaces for feet of back passengers, and the second row of armchairs can move now on 160 mm forward-back, backs can bend on a corner to six degrees. Besides, the luggage carrier volume at the lifted back seats has increased to 670 litres (by 120 litres more than earlier), and at combined — to 1,780 litres.
All cars of family Cayenne become easier on the average for 10%, even in spite of the fact that in the car will appear approximately on 70 kgs more than the standard equipment. For example, the off-road car weight in updating "S" will decrease on 180 kgs — to 2,065 kgs.

Such indicators to engineers managed to achieve thanks to introduction of new production on punching of doors, modernisation of a skeleton of the body combining a high-strength steel with aluminium, installation of aluminium doors, luggage carrier and cowl covers, to introduction in the chassis of aluminium components (it has allowed to lower gross weight on 66 kgs), and also to application of other braid of wires (still a minus of 10 kgs).
Also the car will have 3-l 240-strong diesel engine V6 and a hybrid power-plant total power of 380HP. All units can work together with an 8-step automatic transmission. It is expected, that in the European car market the novelty will appear on sale in May of this year.
